Darwin Driving School provides both male and female driving instructors in the Darwin and NT area. All our driving instructors are fully qualified, nationally certified and are keys2drive registered. Darwin Driving School strives to provide excellent customer service from your first phone call to the moment you pass your driving test. At Darwin Driving School, we understand that it is important to your learning process that you are comfortable with your instructor. Darwin driving school instructors are professional, friendly and patient and will strive to get you your drivers licence as quickly as possible! We have experience teaching international student drivers, mature-age learner drivers, people with overseas licences and nervous drivers.
Approved Class C Licence Examiners
Darwin Driving School instructors are approved Class C licence testers. This means that our qualified driving instructors can take you from your very first lesson right through to your final licence exam. Our instructors understand exactly what is required to pass the Northern Territory road licence exam, and ensure that in addition to teaching safe driving skills, we ensure that the road rules we are teaching students are the very latest in accordance with the latest examination rules. From the moment you step into one of our vehicles, Darwin Driving School instructors endeavor to deliver quality, professional driver training. We incorporate the Northern Territory Motor Vehicles Registry testing syllabus into your driving lesson plan to ensure you are prepared and trained in all the areas you will be assessed on in your drivers licence test.
What can you expect from our driving lessons?
Our instructors will adjust your driving lesson plan to suit your level of ability. In general, your driver instructor will cover the following areas:
- Instruct students to drive a motor vehicle by teaching them how to steer, interpret and understand traffic conditions, reverse, park, and understand mechanical components and functions
- Teach NT road traffic regulations and advise students when they are ready for assessment
- Teach road craft and defensive driving skills
- Advise on and teach advanced driving techniques for emergency situations and/or to further driving knowledge.
